Breakfast, the Boatyard, and a Concert

A FULL DAY
Elena shooting Mia with her phone
Showing Maria the image.
Antonis and Elena talking
Arianna and Antonis, "Go ahead and eat."

At the boatyard
Nossbye  "On The Hard"
(you can see Antonis head just coming out the of the cabin.)
Getting on the boat is an experience
"Stop taking pictures"
The replaced bearing shaft that was leaking. Caused by a broken motor mount.
But accidentally hitting a rock with the bow, and doing hull repairs at sea, during a three day return to their home island was an experience I do not envy.

I left the boatyard-pier area to photograph and return home
An Igoumensita ferry clearing the Old Fort.
The St George Chapel at the Old Fort. This is where the evening concert will be held.
I go past the Governors Palace on the way home.
Photography at the Palace.

TIME FOR A MAP
Look for the "Magenta Dots"
Lower right, where the boat is being repaired, inside the pier.
Far right/center, entrance to the Old Fort (You are HERE)
Upper right, Governors Palace.
Top right on the outer drive is the entrance to Apolodorous, their street.
To its left is the dot where their house actually sits on Apolodorou street.
Dot on lower left side is where the University is, off the map.

Aopolodorou street. Their home entrance door step is on the left, in the sunlight.
Their front door.
My favorite view

Leaving their street and turning right to go to the Old Fort for the concert.
A beautiful time of day. You are looking at the back of the Governors Palace.
On the bridge over the moat leading into the Old Fort.
St Georges Chapel at dusk. No seats left inside.
The concert. They played slowly (it seemed)

Leaving the fort after the concert. The gallery building where our show will hang is on the left.

Ta Leme
